ANOTHER NIGHT OFF = FUN

So I got another night off. Apparently it's been real slow at Jimmy Love's these past Thursdays. To add to that, I pulled the plug on "GROOVE KITCHEN" Mainly because it was not how I wanted the vibe to be. It was to be more hip-hop and 90's, but some ish popped off so I was playing mostly jig's. All good though, stay tuned because a new location is in the works!

I ended up going to PB last night with some of the PQ homies. It was our first PQ outing. Very fun, though we almost got into a fight on the way back to the car! THANKS MARS!! WE hit up 2 spots. Typhoon Saloon and Buba something?? Typhoon Saloon is actually a really nice place, but it was pretty much dead. But we did take advantage of all the wells drinks! After that we went to that Buba spot, and when I got in there I saw peanuts shells all over the floor. Kinda weird but the peanuts were actually pretty good. They were SALTED...MMMMM bomb. We went through 2 baskets. Gross huh? Then we ended our night like fatty's and went to Carl's Jr.

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (EXTENDED)

Let me first just say that tonight was the longest 4 hours I have ever DJ'd. I could not believe how slow the night was going! I was EXHAUSTED!! Tonight was the total opposite of last night. This weekend in general was pretty far off from what I'm used to. Unlike last night it was packed at 10:30 where last night it didn't get crackin' until 12:45. For some reason I didn't take any pics. Probably because I'm getting tired of taking pics of the same areas over and over! Ah well. But I didn't come out empty handed. I decided to record most of the time. FRIDAY'S AT JIMMY LOVE'S

Last night was like a roller coaster. It started out REAL slow, then gradually started filling up. At around 12:30 it was pretty much packed. As usual, I met a few more cool peeps. One thing I noticed is that a lot of these people are from out of state, but are now staying in San Diego. Here's how the night looked:

NEW Batch of CD's!!

What's up Folks! Just an update on whats been going on. It was a real rough beginning of the week, but everything seems to be falling in to place. So first off, I was actually able to sleep early last night after like 2 years of going to sleep at 7am and waking up in the afternoon! It's about 9:00am right now and this is the earliest I've ever been up in years. It get's even better. After I shower, I peek at the window and see a UPS Truck! And you know what that means!! I got my New CD's!! Check em out.



Some of you may know about the whole situation on what happened, but to for those of you who don't. To make the long story short. There was a mis-communication over at the place that pressed my CD's and I was sent bad CD's. Bad meaning, not the CD I wanted to be duplicated. So I had to send them back to get re done. But all good, because I now have the right ones and are ready for the Street.

I will be dropping some off to Access in Pacific Beach before I go to Groove Kitchen, around 7ish. So if you around the area feel free top cop a copy or two!!
